A LITTLE HELP WITH YOUR NEXT AHA

The Pips solver

Bring a board. Explore a possible next move. Understand how the pieces fit.

01

Make it your board.

Choose a region below, then tap cells to color them. Every region must connect along cell edges.

2 cells in region A. Every cell has a region. Empty regions are removed when you check.

02

Pick your pieces.

Use 0–6 for each half, separated by a dash. Separate dominoes with commas. A blank half is 0.

03

See how it fits.

Start with the example, or build a board of your own.

Import or export puzzle data

Use PipsPlay puzzle JSON to save an editable copy. Check an imported board before playing.

Replace this draft?

Your current editor board will be replaced. Export its puzzle data first if you want to keep a copy.

A helper you can take one step at a time

Choose a board size, paint connected regions and enter every domino. The solver understands exact sums, equal and different values, strict inequalities, and regions without a condition.

Choose Find a solution to check the board. Next hint reveals one move from a valid full solution. It is a possible continuation, not a claim that the move is forced or unique. You can reveal the rest when you are ready.

What can this solver handle?

The editor supports full rectangular boards with up to 24 cells. It does not accept screenshots, holes in a board, or the parity and product variants found in some other games. If a search reaches its limit, the tool says so; it does not treat that as proof that a puzzle is impossible.

Solving runs in your browser. To ask for a hint about a board you are already playing on PipsPlay, use that game’s Hint button: it takes your current placements into account.
