You can play PipsPlay without creating an account. This page describes the data used by the current website.
Saved on your device
PipsPlay uses browser local storage for puzzle progress, undo history, hint stages, active playing time, completed boards, theme preferences and editor drafts. These entries use the pipsplay:v1: prefix.
This storage enables refresh recovery and personal statistics. It is not synchronized across devices. Clearing this site’s browser data removes it; private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving.
Page analytics
The production site retains its existing Google Analytics property to understand page usage. Analytics may use cookies and process device, browser and usage information according to Google’s settings and policies. It is not loaded in local development or previews.
PipsPlay does not deliberately send domino placements, puzzle solutions, editor drafts or raw challenge codes as analytics events. Its configured page-view URL removes query strings and replaces challenge codes with the generic /p/ path.
Shared challenges
A challenge link contains the board dimensions, domino values and region conditions. Anyone who receives that link can read and play the puzzle. The solved placement is not included.
When you open a link, its path is sent to the website’s hosting infrastructure as part of the normal page request. Do not put personal information in puzzle data.
Hosting and external links
The site is configured to run on Cloudflare, which processes requests and may retain operational logs for security and reliability. Fonts and game assets are served locally by the site.
The current game does not load the advertising scripts from the old embedded game. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ own policies.
Managing your data
You can delete saved PipsPlay data through your browser’s site-storage settings. This clears local progress and statistics. You can also restrict third-party cookies and analytics requests using browser controls.
